Hillys Home Game 2008

Well this is a story,


Well as you know that there was Hilly the fish home game freerolls being played, well had played 2 of them on paradise and as per usual got busted out early or made close but not close enough well same for the third.

Anyway me and my dad had been playing these and he was able to make a final table appearance in the third freeroll and got to the last 4 with himself and Richard Scott and 2 Hungarians what the hell (UK TOURNAMENT).

So my dad and richard made a deal that who ever won would invite the other (fair Dos) so anyway Richard won it and invited the old man who asked Richard if there was a spare seat available i would be more than happy to come along well as you can tell yes that seat became available.

Turned up on the night of the home game where there were quite a few experienced players there me and dad looked at each other and thought well this will be a fun night ready to lose a bit of money, well it ended up being quite the opposite i won the first game which gave a London Final seat and the second game and dad won the third with me second.

Well the final came along six handed played for a total prize pool of £5000 well what a suprise i busted out in the first 10 minutes but still walking away with £500 for my troubles not bad going really.

Just a lesson i learnt that one and will do different in the Virgin Festival.
